Xiaomi Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 lite launched, All you need to know

       The Xiaomi Y series smartphone was launched today at Delhi. Xiaomi with new series are trying to take down Oppo and Vivo smartphone that are selfie centric and trying to capture the youth of the country. Also when we talk about Xiaomi there is no compromise in the specs like Oppo and Vivo..
       Xiaomi launched two variants of the Y series one is Y1 and the other one is Y 1 lite. Y1 comes with a 16MP front camera but the Y1 lite the smaller variant comes with 5MP selfie cemera..
      Xiaomi also introduced their product endorser as Katrina kaif while launching the smartphone

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 

      Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is a 4G smartphone which comes in two variants one with 3GB with 32 GB storage and 4GB with 64 GB storage.. priced at 8,999 and 10,999 respectively. The Xiaomi Y1 comes with Snapdragon 435 octa core processor. 3080mah battery to power up the phone. 5.5 inch LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Has a 13 MP rear and 16 MP front camera.

Design:-

       It is available in two colour option Gold and Dark Grey. The back is made up of plastic with a metalic paint job which makes the Y1 light weight. To the front at the top we have 16 MP camera with sensors and ear piece followed by a display of 720p which is LCD then we have the 3 capacitive key's which are not backlit. Then at the back we have the rear camera of 13MP, a finger print scanner and the MI branding. To the bottom we have the primary micro-phone, micro USB port and speaker. The IR blaster, secondary noise cancellation microphone and a 3.5 headphone jack are present at the top. To the right we have the power key and the volume rockers. The sim tray is present at the left which supports two nano Sims and a micro SD card

       The Redmi Y1 lite is the lighter version of the Redmi Y1 priced at 6,999. Compromise comes in the form of front camera as the lite has a 5MP front camera also it has Snapdragon 425 SoC compare to the 435 Soc on the Y1 variant

Also it has 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage also the finger print scanner is missing
      The lite is available in two colour options Gold and Dark Grey
